We had a really enjoyable stay in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande near private gardens that lead down to the river. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a terrace and a continental breakfast. The location in the center was unbeatable.

The place was beautiful and stunning, will be back. A hair dryer, a walk-in shower, and bathrobes were provided. It was protected with smoke detectors. The breakfast was superb and there was a GREAT selection of food. Everything was spotless and I got ironing for free.

What a find! A property with a secret garden - the doors open and you drive into a beautiful courtyard hidden from sight. Our apartment was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable - we loved it. the garden was stunning, even in autumn, which our dog also enjoyed. the nearby countryside is gorgeous, perfect for exploring.

The blurb on the website was misleading. the room we booked was supposed to be a King Studio, but it was essentially just a double bedroom with basic amenities.

There was no indoor dining table available, so all meals had to be taken outside on the patio. This became an issue due to the presence of tiger mosquitos from the nearby river, resulting in many mosquito bites during meals.

staying at maison m on the dordogne was an absolute delight! the owner, tegan, thought of everything from the beautiful decor to the extra touches that made our stay luxurious. we loved the stunning garden that backed onto the dordogne river and the village feel of the town. it exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful time staying at Maison M in the charming town of Ste. Foy La Grande. The hotel is a beautifully restored townhouse with a tranquil garden and pool area. The hosts, Tegan and Christian, were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even brought breakfast to our room when the dining room was being fixed. The spacious bedroom and ensuite were beautifully decorated and the dining room served delicious continental breakfast. Tegan's restaurant recommendations were spot on, and we enjoyed a lovely picnic in the garden. We can recommend this hotel without hesitation.
